The human mind functions at two levels. There is the conscious level, where focused, analytical thought takes place. We are aware of the conscious level. We directly access it. At the subconscious level are emotional reactions, patterns of thought and behavior—things that happen automatically, or which happen so quickly, we’re not aware of them even happening.
To put it simply: What happens in the subconscious, does not stay in the subconscious. It constantly influences our lives.
